One of our major sponsors, The OKGA (Old Knox Grammarians Association) is holding a special screening of ‘Penguin Bloom’ at the iconic Hayden Orpheum Picture Palace on Sunday 18 April at 3.30pm.
The screening of the film will be followed by a Q&A with Sam and Cam Bloom (OKG89) and Gus Worland (OKG86).
This event is fundraiser for Old Boys and their families who are doing it tough (‘Old Boys for Old Boys’).
The film, which stars Naomi Watts, Andrew Lincoln and Jacki Weaver, tells the heart-warming tale of a baby magpie that helped save a young mother and her family. It is rated PG and is suitable for students in Years 3 and up.
