In our most competitive weekend vs Mosman for some time, there were many impressive performances on the pitch. However, two individuals from our resurgent Scooby-Doos stood out and will share our Lust Liquor Player of the Round.
Matt Horsley was battling illness (but given the covid-clearance on Friday afternoon) put in a huge performance at full-back, working tirelessly all game to get his team out of trouble and played with great spirit.
Tiago Vega, a rampaging Argentinian back-rower new to Knox in 2020 has been building in confidence each week, and on the weekend put in his best performances of the season. He lead from the front with damaging runs and brutal defence, and was also rewarded with good minutes in 1st Grade – he is one player knocking on the door of a Kentwell starting debut.
